Profit Taking Pulls KSE-100 Index 143 Points Down







KARACHI: Profit taking at Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) on Wednesday took away some gains from previous sessions, as the benchmark KSE 100-share Index slipped 143 points to close at 24,445.
The trade volume stood strong at 200 million shares with scrips of 363 companies exchanging hands. Shares of 147 companies registered gains and 188 dropped while 28 closed at the opening rates.
KSE-30 Index finished the day 102 points down at 18,383.
