SWAT: Earthquake tremors were felt in Swat and other parts of Malakand division in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday.
The moderate intensity tremors were felt in Swat, Mingora, Shangla and adjoining areas. Tremors sparked panic and fear as people ran out of their homes in open places after feeling jolts of the earthquake.
On Friday, tremors were felt in Sohrab, Khuzdar, Sibbi, Quetta and other surrounding areas in Balochistan. No loss of life or property was reported.
An earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale had struck the impoverished area of Balochistan on September 24 followed by a number of aftershocks measuring over 4.5 on the Richter scale which devastated over half of all houses in the area, killing at least 500 people and injuring over a 1,000.
