KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movements (MQM) on Thursday challenged the verification of thumb impressions in Sindh High Court.
MQM MNA from NA-256 Iqbal Muhammad Ali Khan and Sindh Assembly member from PS-128 Waqar Hussain in a petition in Sindh High Court contended that the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) could not check thumb impressions to verify votes. A NADRA report submitted to an election tribunal on Monday revealed massive irregularities in the poll for National Assembly seat from Karachi's NA-256.
