LONDON: Terming it an outcome of interdependent global cooperation, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Tuesday said that no country in the world could make ‘progress’ on its own.
“There stands no hurdle between the Islamic nations and other countries that could stop them from doing business with each other”, said he addressing the World Islamic Economic Forum (WIRF) here.
Sharif said the international trade was expanding fast evident from the improving standard of living of the people across the world.
“The dividends of this global growth must trickle down to more and more people”, said he.
He said it was a matter of grave concern that no Islamic nation had so far lived up to its full growth potential despite the fact that some countries' progress went through the roof with the advent of modern technology.
