More than 10 Prople Were Killed as Terrorists Target all Four Provincial Capitals in Pakistan

LAHORE - Terrorists Thursday targeted all four provincial capitals of Pakistan killing more than 10 people. In Karachi three suspected terrorists were killed in an explosion near Orangi Town Ijtemahghah Thursday night.





The alleged terrorists were killed when the explosive material exploded they were trying to transport or install on a motorcycle exploded. Police sources confirmed that the three persons killed in the blast were terrorists.

Earlier, at least six persons were killed and more than 50 others injured in a blast near city police station in Liaquat Bazar on Thursday. According to police, the bomb was implanted on a bicycle. Security forces cordoned off the area and started search operation.

In Peshawar, at least three officials of Khasadar Force were injured in a blast that targeted the vehicle of security forces near Achini Mor at Ring Road on Thursday. The wounded officials, belonging to Khyber Agency, were deputed at the security of polio vaccination teams. The injured security personnel were shifted to hospital for medical treatment. According to Bomb Disposal Squad, the remote-controlled bomb weighed two kilograms.

At least one person was killed and more than 15 others injured when a bomb exploded in a food market in Lahore, the capital of Punjab province. According to Deputy Inspector General Police Rai Tahir, a time device planted at the ground floor of a three-storey building in Old Anarkali food street went off at 11:45am.
