Pakistan Announce Team ODIs against South Africa



LAHORE: Pakistan on Saturday recalled middle order batsman Umar Akmal and to the ODI squad for the five-match series against South Africa in the UAE.

Sohaib Maqsood, the right-handed batsman who played two T20s in Zimbabwe recently, was also named in the 16-member squad.

The test openers duo Khurram Manzoor and Shan Masood who provided 135 runs opening stand to Pakistan in Abu Dhabi Test and individually made century and half century respectively were not included in the ODI squad.

Selectors left out three players who featured in the Zimbabwe ODIs, including seamers Anwar Ali and Asad Ali and batsman Haris Sohail.
