KARACHI: The action movie ‘Waar’ will be released on this Eid al-Adha, directed by Bilal Lashari while written and produced by Dr. Hassan Waqas Rana, ARY News reported on Saturday.
The movie comes under the banner of ARY Films and Mandviwalla Entertainment, holds a significant importance to every Pakistani due to its resemblance with the real issues of the country.
‘Waar’ is Pakistan’s highest budgeted movie, it cost about Rs. 170 million. The cast of film includes Shaan Shahid, Meesha Shafi, Ali Azmat, Shamoon Abbasi and Ayesha Khan, among others.
The first promo of the movie went on air exactly two years back but due to the uncertain hurdles, the movie failed to make its way to the cinemas.
