ISLAMABAD – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has prepared final list of references against top officials, former ministers and bureaucrats.
According to NAB sources, the list includes more than 150 new references while over 1,000 inquiries are part of this list. The sources said that the references and inquires were holdup due to the inordinate delay in the appointment of NAB chief.
Meanwhile, the list will now be forwarded to new NAB chairman Chaudhry Qamar Zaman after holidays for final approval. The NAB investigative teams will be assigned tasks for the arrest of accused and further investigation after the approval, the sources added.
